Responsibilities and scope
Disclaimer
Last updated: August 2026
This disclaimer explains the scope of the information on this site and the related responsibilities. Before downloading or installing a client, or changing network settings based on a tutorial, review the terms below and consider your device and environment.
1. Site purpose and scope
Clash Client Official Site provides Clash guides, configuration instructions, and download links to help users learn about client installation, subscription imports, proxy groups, and routing rules. Instructions on this site are general technical information, not a commitment to implement or support a solution for any specific device, organization network, or business system.
Clients and cores in the Clash ecosystem may be maintained by different projects. Features, licensing, and support are governed by each project's release notes. A download link or feature overview on this site does not guarantee the quality or future updates of every client, nor does it mean that this site provides proxy nodes, subscription accounts, or network connectivity.
2. Software and configuration risks
Running a client may involve changing system proxy, DNS, virtual network adapter, routing, or firewall settings. Results can vary by operating system, permission level, and other networking software. Decide whether installation and configuration are appropriate for your environment. You are responsible for downloading software, granting permissions, importing configurations, and changing settings.
Before making changes, back up your existing configuration and note your current network settings. Obtain the required authorization before using a client on a work device or managed network. Check the source and permissions required before importing a subscription or configuration. Keep subscription URLs, account details, and controller credentials secure; do not publish them.
If your connection drops, apps stop working, or compatibility issues arise, stop the relevant operation, disable the settings you added, and restore your backup. Responsibility for data loss, service interruptions, and other damages arising from the device environment, configuration choices, or third-party services will be determined based on the facts, applicable law, and each party's share of fault.
3. Tutorial accuracy and version differences
Our tutorials reflect the versions available when they were written or updated. Client upgrades, core changes, and operating system updates may change menu names, settings locations, defaults, and permission steps. Examples illustrate specific configuration relationships; they may not apply to every version or be suitable for production use without modification.
We update content based on available information, but it may be outdated, incomplete, or inaccurate. If the interface differs from a tutorial, check your version and the release notes before proceeding, and avoid repeating steps that do not apply. Enable settings that take over network traffic or allow remote control only after understanding their effects and how to revert them.
For help, see the relevant sections in the FAQ or user guide. When troubleshooting, share only the error details needed and redact subscription URLs and other sensitive information.
4. External links and third-party services
Download links and reference materials may point to app stores, project websites, or other external pages. Their content, availability, fees, and privacy practices are controlled by their operators and may change at any time. After leaving this site, review the destination's terms and permission requirements.
A link provides a way to access another page; it does not mean this site endorses all of its content or guarantees that the operator will meet its obligations. External downloads, account logins, transactions, and service disputes are governed by the agreement between you and the relevant provider. This site cannot control their operations or processes.
5. Lawful use and applicability
You must comply with applicable local laws, network policies, and the rules of any services you access, and ensure you have the required access and permissions. Technical information on this site is not legal advice and should not be taken as a determination that any particular use is lawful.
Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law or affects rights you have under that law. We will update the date on this page when the disclaimer changes; responsibility for specific conduct will still depend on the facts and applicable law. For information about how personal data is handled, see the Privacy Policy.
